The New Educational Review is the international scientific journal founded by three universities from Poland, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Now, cooperate in this range: Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (Poland), Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (Slovak Republic) and University of Ostrava (Czech Republic).
The main seat of the editorial board is placed at the Institute of Education and Communication Research in Silesian University of Technology in Poland (44-100 Gliwice, Hutnicza 9-9A, phone: +48 32 400 39 52, tner.polsl.pl).
In our opinion, a creation of the new international journal is an important initiative, because at present in the Central European countries such a periodical does not exist. The New Educational Review is a continuation of an idea of Professor Bogdan Suchodolski, who directed the international editorial board of the year-journal Paideia. It was edited by the Committee for Educational Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the period 1972 – 1994 in English, French and Russian. Two years after the Professor Suchodolski’s death the journal disappeared from the publishing market.
The New Educational Review is published by the Adam Marszałek Publishing House, free of charge for the authors. This online version is made open access, requiring neither subscription nor registration.
